STAS sneeze guard hanging kit / STAS screen hanging kit

It's very difficult for employees, receptionists and cashiers at supermarkets, shops and government and healthcare institutions etc. to comply with the WHO guideline to keep social distance from customers during the current outbreak of the coronavirus / COVID-19 .

STAS has devised 2 hanging kits to create a physical barrier (by means of plexiglass or other plastic solutions up to 0.31inches/8.5mm) between the customer/visitor and employee from your ceiling. Hanging a screen from the ceiling considerably reduces the chance of spreading the virus from customer to employee and vice versa.
The screens are also called sneeze guards, cough screens or store partitions.

STAS offers 2 hanging kits to choose from:

1. With fixed piers For a fixed attachment from any type of (solid) ceiling:
• 2x STAS fixed piers
• 2x STAS steel cable – adjustable height
• 2x STAS screen clamp (0.31 inches/8.5mm)

Mounting instructions: Mount the STAS fixed piers with screws in the ceiling and attach the STAS steel cables and the STAS screen clamps. Clamp the screen with the STAS screen clamps with the auxiliary tool.

2. With cables with loop For hanging from tubes, structures or beams
• 2x STAS steel cable with loop – adjustable height
• 2x STAS screen clamp (0.31 inches/8.5mm)
Optional: 2x STAS ceiling hook

Mounting instructions: Hang the STAS steel cables with loop from tubes or beams. Attach the STAS screen clamps. Clamp the screen with the STAS screen clamps with the auxiliary tool.

Note: The hanging kits don’t come with a screen. They are however, widely available in hardware stores or order our fully complete STAS sneeze guard – barrier screen.
