It's better to use two or more cord-hook combinations for larger/heavier frames, so the weight capacity is certainly enough, plus you can level the frame better when you have two hook - cord combinations to hang your artwork from. This makes it easier to balance and level a larger and often heavier frame. One STAS zipper on perlon cord - carries loads up to 33 lbs, so two zipper hook- perlon cord combinations can carry 66 lbs. The STAS minirail picture rail can carry 55 lbs per 39.25".

We looked for a solution so that then next time we paint or remodel we didn't have to do so much patching and repair to the wall.
The minirail went up easily and can easily support our 20+ framed and ceramic art pieces. It will also allow us to rearrange and change pieces on display which was something we would have never done in the past..
Installation of the Minirail is very straightforward but it does demand precision in positioning the proprietary screws to which the rail attaches. A laser level makes that very easy. Rails can be cut to length easily on a chop saw (with appropriate blade) and they are easily paintable to match the wall. I found gentle taps with a rubber mallet made it easy to snap the rail over screws when hand pressure (which usually did the trick) was insufficient
Although this system entails a significant investment compared to nails in a wall, the dramatic increase in speed and ease of hanging, plus the ease of modifying layouts, makes it a great value for anyone who will be making frequent changes. And, in conjunction with a good lighting system, it allows one to keep things fresh and present them at their best. In all, this is a very clever and extremely well thought-through system. I would, and likely will, buy this product again without hesitation.
The Minirail system was my answer. Since then, I have expanded the system to all areas of my condo.
